Today I turned 25. Here's 25 things I learnt getting there.
You should choose your friends wisely, and you should also know that it's incredibly difficult to keep them all.
Staying in on the weekend is as fun as staying out on the weekend.
The importance of saying no.
Being selfish is actually okay.
Splurge and treat yourself once in a while after you've worked hard. It feels great, trust me.
Know your limit when it comes to drinking, not just for you, but for others as well.
You should know that being single is okay and also f*cking cool!
You should know that confidence is sexy.
You don't need to have everything figured out. Just do you!
Just start...its better than not starting.
Get a hobby or a side project. Humans crave stimulation. If you feel you are stagnating, it's because you are not stimulated creatively.
Being able to cook. Not only will this impress her/him, it will also help you survive.
Be critical of everyone.
Have an abundance mindset.
Don't take yourself too seriously.
Comparison is the thief of joy.
It's okay to have a day where you do absolutly nothing. Chill. Relax. Become a couch and just reset your body and mind.
Learning a new skill has never hurt anybody.
You should know that being kind is mandatory, and putting your pride away is a sign of maturity.
Nothing ever really goes according to plan.
Wine is better than shots....just saying.
Your parents were right.
Be frugal, but don't be cheap.
Embrace your individuality.
